Types of corner cabinets

In the plan of your kitchen you have more than one option to optimize your corner cabinets. We’re going to talk first about the upper ones and after we’re going to see the differents possibilities for the bottom ones.

 

For the ones on the top, you have two different choice of configuration. Those cabinets will have tablets inside to maximise your storage space.

 

The diagonal corner : One door fixed in a 45 degres angle gives you a bigger storage space.

For that type of configuration it is possible to install a mechanism nammed « Twister » instead of the regular tablets. This system has 3 rotatives plates to have a better access to your product.

The corner door with a piano hinge : That type of configuration need to doors fixed together to have an easier opening.

For the bottom cabinets it exists few types of configuration :

 

The bottom corner with drawers :  The corner drawers is a nice alternative. The only thing you have to notice is you lose a little part each sides of the cabinet.

 

First choice : Plain front in an angle of 45 degres.

Second choice : Front in an angle of 90 degres to follow the path of cabinet.

The diagonal bottom corner :  Door fixed in a 45 degres angle gives you a bigger storage space. For this configuration you can only install regular tablets, there’s no special mechanism who fits that corner.

The bottom  corner door with a piano hinge. That type of configuration need to doors fixed together to have an easier opening like the one on the top. You can install regular tablets or a rotatives plates mechanism in that one.

The bottom corner with an annex:

 

First choice : Regular configuration with an annex and tablets who goes to the back of the cabinet. It is provided with a door that opens by hinge system.

Second choice : Retractable tablets system named « Le Mans » or « Power slide ». This mechanism  allow you to put out completely the two tablets to have a better access to your product in the back.  It is provided with a door that opens by hinge system.

Third choice : « Magic corner » mechanism adapt for the door with an hinge system. This one too allow you to put out completely the system to have a better access to your product in the back.

Fourth choice : The same product « Magic corner » but in this case the mechanism is fixed on the door who did the same trajectory as the system.
